Apply now   * Required field.  Telecommunications Operator | Fort Wayne, IN| Temp role | $17/hour | Monday – Friday 11pm – 730am Part Time Job Description: The Telecommunications Operator is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls, providing routine information, and dispatching calls to the appropriate departments, personnel, or providers in a professional and courteous manner. Also handles paging requests, assists with emergency communications, and ensures accurate and timely information delivery to patients, staff, providers, and external customers.  Your new role as the Telecommunications Operator:  Answer all incoming calls promptly, greeting callers professionally and courteously, Carries out paging procedures for employees, providers, and other essential personnel. Act as an information hub by providing accurate assistance to patients, employees, and external customers. Transfers calls accurately to the proper extension, ensuring seamless communication for customers and staff. Assists with data entry for the department, staff and any paging information. Requirements for Telecommunications Operator:High school diploma or GED required.Previous call center experience preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital policies is preferred.Experience in customer service and use of computers – hardware and software, and/or any use of an electronic medical record.Ability to manage high call volumes in a calm and professional manner.What matters most as the Connect Ambassador:Shift: 11pm – 730am, M-F, part time hoursPay starting at $17 per hour  Business casual dress code  Benefits offering medical plans, dental and vision  Additional benefits such as: group accident, critical illness w/ cancer benefits, short-term disability, behavioral health, term life, and identity theft  Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card    If you have what it takes to be fulfill these Connect Ambassador expectations, apply today!   Your New Organization:
