As an application support member at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, application support mgmt. and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions and user support requests for Engineers Platform & Services leading to a seamless user experience. Critical thinking while resolving day-to-day user support and incident management will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm Analyzes and troubleshoots production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firm. Analyze identify gaps in process, and offer ideas for improvement in areas that require remediation or enhancement Improves operational stability and availability through participation in problem management Identifies trends and assist in the management of incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure Participates in triaging, examining, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and work with various AD team to solve problems at their root Recognizes the toil within your role and proactively works towards eliminating it through either systems engineering or collaborating with AD/SRE teams. Understands observability patterns and strives to implement and improve service level indicators, objectives monitoring, and alerting solutions for optimal transparency and analysisRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services Experience with common networking technologies, and continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Spinnaker, Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform. Experience supporting public/private cloud-based applications. Knowledge in automating daily support operations using scripting and tooling. Experience in one or more observability and monitoring tools and techniques like Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, ITRS Geneos, etc. Knowledge of one or more general-purpose programming languages or automation scripting (Python, UNIX shell scripting, etc.). Experience with one or more major cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tooling. Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals. Possesses a continuous improvement mindset.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience with cloud-based applications and modern deployment practices.
