As a Technology Support III team member in the Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) Technology, Markets Technology team in the Athena Support team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.

Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firmWork on some of the most complex problems at the intersection of two dynamic industries: finance and technology.Partner closely with our Line of Business clients (LoBs) to understand their needs in order to shape the support roadmap.Interact with other high-performing teams to inspire innovation and champion change throughout the bank.Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availabilityAssist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability toolsIdentify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholdersAnalyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in a technical support role or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology servicesPossess demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloudExperience in observability and monitoring tools and techniquesPossess exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworkProficient in scripting languages to be able to support the live platform
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scriptingLinux administration and host performance tuning, with Unix Shell ScriptingGood Knowledge of Python, Bitbucket, git source repository and working with tools such as - Nagios, Grafana, Service Now, Datadog & splunkExperience of Production management L1 Support and Postgres database skills setGood to have triaging skillsFamiliar with Jira project management tooling and possess a working understanding of public cloud / AWSUnderstanding of ITIL, Incident/Change/Problem Management and Network Load Balancing
