As a Technology Support III team member in Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) Technology, Treasury Services team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firmSupports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availabilityAssist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability toolsIdentify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholdersAnalyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructureWork with SRE mindset to reduce manual toil and improve observability to increase operational efficient and improved productivityRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in a technical support role or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services --- Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issuesDemonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloudExperience in observability and monitoring tools and techniquesExposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework such as Incident management, Change management, Problem management and Service managementPossess experience with Splunk for monitoring and analyzing application logs and performance metrics and Autosys and Control-M for scheduling, execution and monitoring batch jobsPossess proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems for application management and troubleshootingPossess a good knowledge of Oracle databases for data management and query optimizationPossess strong experience with Grafana for data visualization / monitoring and alerting, enhancing system observabilityBe open to adopting and managing additional applications as needed, expanding your expertise and contributing to the team's success
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting – Python is preferrableUnderstanding of cloud-based applications and services, with the ability to manage and optimize cloud environments – Kubernetes / AWS .Experience in banking domain is preferrableEmbrace a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset, focusing on reliability, scalability, and automation to enhance system performance and resilience.
