Technology Excellence Manager – Condition Monitoring

As a Technology Excellence Manager for the Resource Industry (RI) Condition Monitoring (CM) team, your team will be at the forefront of CM analytics development and connectivity assurance, areas that are critical for delivering high value customer service via equipment uptime. You will play a key thought-leadership role on where to drive Caterpillar’s CM service next, while also helping to improve data delivery consistency for existing customers. At times, it will have a player-coach element where the candidate will be running projects directly while leading a team to realize important initiatives. **What You’ll Do** Condition Monitoring Connectivity Assurance Management: + Lead a global team of operations specialists to maintain the highest level of CM service delivery through constantly connected assets + Look for new ways to enhance quality via both hardware and software solutions + Responsible for connectivity-related budgeting and commercial support programs associated with business initiatives + Develop and manage enterprise relationships and technology expertise to quickly resolve critical customer-support issues Condition Monitoring Analytics Development Leadership: + Lead a global analytics development team + Accountable for analytics innovation projects including prioritization, timeless and reporting, resource management, results quantification and budget management + Lead decision-making progress associated with maintaining local ownership vs. enterprise integration of analytics enhancements into Cat Foresight + Seek out new analytics innovations, both internally and externally + Develop and manage consistent, global deployment methodology and documentation + Coordination of internal team activities to steer efficiencies and sustain deployment processes Condition Monitoring Team Tool Development and Maintenance: + Drive standard work for Condition Monitoring Advisor interfaces with customers and dealers + Support tool and dashboard development to govern and manage CM team performance + Support tool and dashboard development to deliver value to customers through enhanced CM capabilities and reporting **What skills you will have:** + **Technical Excellence:** Extensive **Connectivity Solutions and Technology** background, as well as a broad enterprise support network. Domestic relocation assistance is available. This position may require up to 20 % travel, globally. Visa sponsorship, international assignments, or payroll transfers are not available for this role. **Summary Pay Range:** $159,120.00 - $238,680.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
