Job Title: Technician - Vehicle SustainmentJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician specializing in Vehicle Sustainment to perform repairs, modifications, and retrofits on LAV vehicles. The role involves providing technical assistance on repair procedures and liaising with internal and external customers to resolve data and technical issues.

ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs, modifications, and retrofits on LAV vehicles.Provide customers with technical assistance on repair procedures.Liaise with internal and external customers for the resolution of data and technical issues.Prepare input for various management and log reports.Perform rework tasks and other general assembly tasks.Maintain safe work practices.Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues.
Essential SkillsExperience in mechanic repair, modification, and retrofit.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of armored vehicles.Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills & QualificationsTruck, coach, automotive interprovincial certification or equivalent.Qualified Military Fire Control Systems Technician or Military Electro-Optical Repair Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician.
