The Technician II is responsible for utilizing , maintaining, and troubleshooting automated liquid handlers and bench top equipment, Assess QC data accurately and make pass/fail decisions for oligos, and following SOPs and custom flows for special processing orders. This position reports to the Overnight Supervisor and is part of the Long Oligo Value Stream located in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process es , product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging. + Operate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by f ollow ing all work instructions and adhering to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs. + Support daily management of processes and products including assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest ion of countermeasures The essential requirements of the job include: + High School diploma , GED , or equivalent + Some laborator y experience. + Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + A n a ssociate degree or higher + 12 months of lab experience ; Life Science work experience preferred . + Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word IDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
