Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table. **About Your Role:** As a Maintenance Technician I at Dollar Tree’s Distribution Center, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment. You’ll help ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: **Maintenance & Equipment Support:** + Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems + Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices + Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop) + Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment + Initiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiency + Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department **Documentation & Communication:** + Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established procedures + Communicate technical issues effectively to associates, leadership, and suppliers to minimize equipment downtime + Ensure workmanship meets the highest quality standards **Equipment Operation:** + Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safely + Maintain a customer service-oriented approach while addressing technical issues **Your Required Skills and Experience:** + Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology **OR** 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment) + PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience + Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems + Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking + Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership + Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays **Preferred Requirements:** + Associate’s degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience + Experience maintaining automated equipment in a distribution center environment **Your Perks and Benefits:** We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
