**Technical Support Specialist**
**Location:** Pleasanton,CA 94588
**Contract Duration:** 1 Year (with potential for extension)
**Pay Rate:** $20-23/hr
**About the Role**
We are seeking qualified candidates to join the **SJM Technical Support** team. In this patient-facing role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, assist with troubleshooting, and submit orders for replacement medical equipment. You’ll work closely with patients, ensuring their concerns are resolved efficiently, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism in data entry and documentation.
This is a **contract position** with the potential to convert to a **permanent** opportunity based on performance. Full training and phone mentoring will be provided.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Handle high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls
+ Submit and track orders for replacement remote care equipment
+ Accurately log calls and enter data using prescribed tools and procedures
+ Follow HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
+ Troubleshoot equipment-related issues with professionalism and patience
+ Collaborate with the Cardiomems support team to deliver timely, effective service
**Requirements**
+ 1–2 years of experience in a technical support, operational support, or medical office environment
+ Associate degree with 3–5 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ Strong computer and documentation skills
+ Excellent communication and listening skills
+ Proven ability to multitask and manage high call volumes
+ Detail-oriented and organized; able to follow procedures precisely
+ Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new systems
+ **Medical background preferred** , but not required
+ **Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred**
