Job Title: UST Technician

Job Description

As a UST Technician, you will be responsible for performing testing and repairs on Underground Storage Tanks, providing support to construction and larger repair projects, and responding to maintenance and service calls. You will engage in vapor and environmental compliance testing and ensure gas dispensers function properly. Your role also includes replacing piping and seals of gas dispensers, using hand tools, working in confined spaces, site cleanup, and securing work areas while setting up testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform testing and repairs on Underground Storage Tanks.Provide support to construction and larger repair projects.Respond to maintenance and service calls.Conduct vapor testing and environmental compliance testing.Test gas dispensers to ensure proper functionality.Replace piping and seals of gas dispensers.Use hand tools effectively.Work in confined spaces and conduct site cleanup.Secure work area and set up testing equipment.

Essential Skills

Experience with electrical repair, construction, and hand tools.Previous experience with Underground Storage Tank testing.Experience with environmental compliance.Experience in construction labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

ICC UST Installation Certification is a plus.Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) experience is advantageous.Field service and installation experience is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apple Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
