With guidance, you plan and implement assigned projects. **How you will contribute** You will perform a range of analyses, prepare and maintain standard equipment and chemicals required for running of an analytical laboratory, support laboratory activities while ensuring compliance to the appropriate internal and external standards, and capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy. The role at Technician is to be responsible for performing a range of routine analyses to support effective completion of projects and met agreements with Analytical clients. Perform analytical measurements and report results in accordance with the quality standards. This role focuses on lab administrative and housekeeping activities as well as routine analysis in products using instrumental techniques such as SFC, PSD, Viscosity, Moisture, Soxtec, Rancimat, NIR, Colour, aW, etc. in general. **What you need to know about this position:** In summary, the position plans and executes experiments and applies fundamental understanding to analysis of results. Implements corrective measures when necessary. Plans and implements assigned projects, taking corrective measures when necessary. Assists in training others in processes, GLP, Health and Safety and basic routine analysis. At the organizational level, the position Interfaces within function and, where applicable, cross-functionally. Provides trial reports and project data. **Technical Approach:** + Provide high quality customer partnership at all times by ensuring effective organization of assigned workload, integrity of analytical data generated and timely/accurate provision of results. + Perform a range of routine basic analysis using available analytical techniques under supervision of senior members of the team. + Operate basic lab equipment as directed + Be proficient in the use of specific softwares and proficient in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role. + Provide training in routine analysis and methods. + Perform lab administrative and housekeeping duties as directed. + Approach with manufacturing process involved in the daily routine. + Take responsibility as required for general laboratory needs (purchase consumables, cleanliness of lab apparatus, samples administration). + Basic understanding of Statistics using Minitab tool/Microsoft excel. Awareness and Hands on in LIMS software for data entries. **Strategic approach:** Understand internal MDLZ policies and apply them to their daily work. **Communication & Influence** Work as part of an efficient Regional Analytical team. **QEHS** + Work to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate risk + assessments and SOPs are understood and followed. + Complete assigned quality actions on a timely manner. + Assists with documentation of SOPs for simple equipment and tests and generation of risk + assessments. + Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment. + Understand and work to the requirements of GMP/GLP. + Ensure training records are captured accurately. **Operating Environment:** Interaction with members and leaders of the organization. Clients: a. R&D product and packaging: product development, innovation, brand maintenance, productivity, new process development projects. b. ISC: support on continuous improvement of processes and products, analytical measurements. c. Partners: a. Local and regional teams. d. Suppliers: 1. External suppliers (external labs, universities, analytical equipment suppliers). 2.
