Job Title: Painter (residential/commercial) $21-$22/HR

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Painter to join our professional team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, respectful job site in clients’ homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

Perform interior and exterior residential painting projects.Prepare surfaces including sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, priming, and drywall repairs.Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.Protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas before and during painting.Follow project specifications, color selections, and timelines.Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.Communicate professionally with homeowners, supervisors, and team members.Deliver high-quality workmanship that reflects company standards.

Essential Skills

2+ years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver’s license.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.Reliable attendance and positive attitude.Reliable transportation.Commitment to professionalism when working in customer homes.

Work Environment

Work in crews of 4, primarily in indoor, climate-controlled environments. While mainly focused on residential projects, occasional commercial work is involved.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
