Electronics Technician

What You’ll Do
+ Diagnose and repair electronic equipment with precision.
+ Perform board-level repairs and functional testing to ensure top performance.
+ Assemble electrical devices and components using hand and power tools.
+ Conduct manual rework and troubleshooting on electrical devices.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all tasks.
+ Collaborate with a team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
+ Experience: 3–5 years in an electronics manufacturing or repair environment.
+ Education: Associate Degree in Electronics preferred.
+ Certifications: IPC soldering certification a plus.
+ Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuitry, Windows XP/7, and proficiency with tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
+ Attention to Detail: Ability to read schematics, follow technical documentation, and meet strict quality standards.
+ Software Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
