Job Description

As a Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of ground and water treatment systems. Your work will include equipment setup, system checks, sampling, basic repairs, and field documentation. This role combines mechanical hands-on work with technical learning and offers clear advancement into leadership or technical specialties.

Responsibilities

Support the installation, operation, and maintenance of treatment systems.Conduct equipment setup and perform regular system checks.Carry out sampling and basic repairs as needed.Document field activities and maintain accurate records.Collaborate with team members to ensure effective system operations.

Essential Skills

Construction and installation experience.OSHA 10 certification.Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to learn technical systems, treatment equipment, and field operations.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Reliability, safety awareness, and strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read instructions, simple drawings, or technical manuals.Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in field environments.Familiarity with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Experience with hand tools, repair, blueprints, schematics, and installations.Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, or similar.Hands-on mechanical experience with auto, small engines, fabrication, machining, or DIY projects.Ability to travel to job sites as needed.Basic computer literacy for email, reports, and data entry.Valid driver’s license.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
