**Data Center Technician – Leesburg, VA** **Pay: $28–$32/hr | Mon–Fri, Standard Business Hours** **Overview** Seeking a Data Center Technician to support hardware installation, cabling, troubleshooting, and general data center operations in a fast‑paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Install/remove servers, routers, power supplies, and related hardware + Support rack/stack work, labeling, documentation, and cabling pathways + Install, terminate, and test Cat6 and fiber optic cabling + Perform basic hardware upgrades and OS installs + Assist with troubleshooting hardware, cabling, and basic network issues + Maintain accurate records and asset labeling + Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and test equipment **Requirements** + 1–2 years exp. for Tech I | 5+ years for Tech II + Experience with data center hardware, Cat6, fiber, rack/stack + Ability to read basic drawings/schematics + Ground‑up data center construction experience required + Strong communication and attention to detail + Basic knowledge of servers, SANs, and networking + Familiarity with Microsoft Office **Benefits** Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, birthday PTO, parental and volunteer time off, company‑paid life insurance, short‑term disability, boot/tool reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and a strong culture of safety and professionalism. **Work Environment** Primarily data center/field work; occasional nights/weekends as needed.
