We are seeking a dedicated technician to join our team onsite, assisting in the production and deconstruction of railcar bathrooms. This role involves working as an MEP laborer, contributing to the construction and maintenance of these essential facilities. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits. Job Duties below... **Responsibilities** + Assist in the building and repair of railcar bathrooms. + Perform cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical components. + Assist with repairs and overhauls of passenger railcars and locomotives. + Help maintain the work area, including general cleaning and disposal tasks. + Document and offload components and supplies, while tracking inventory. + Load trucks with outgoing components and parts, and perform recordkeeping. + Collaborate with other technicians and perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting tasks. + Ability to read schematics and perform repairs. + Proficiency in using hand tools for construction and repair. + Experience in wiring and installation processes. + Strong communication and organizational skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of outdoor work experience. + 2+ years of mechanical experience. + Proficient in manual work and construction experience preferred. + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. + Valid driver's license is required. + High School Diploma or GED is required. + Flexibility to work various schedules with potential for overtime. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that offers the opportunity to grow to a foreman level while providing year-round work and excellent benefits.
