Job Description
As a Technician, you will work within a company specializing in Drywall, Plastering, EIFs, Fireproofing, Painting, and Wall Coverings. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment used by field teams, including electric and rough terrain scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, gas/diesel vehicles, plaster/paint pumps, and more.
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repair on various equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and plaster/paint pumps.Work primarily in the shop for 80% of the time, with 20% spent in the field for equipment repairs.Collaborate with a small team of 2-3 mechanics in the shop.Conduct minor maintenance on fleet trucks when necessary.Travel to job sites with internal employees during the contract period and drive company vehicles once hired.Essential SkillsExperience as an equipment mechanic or in automotive/diesel repair.Comfortable working in both shop and field settings.Electrical experience, including knowledge of 110, 220, and 3-phase systems.Proficiency in mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and field service.Understanding of hydraulics and heavy equipment repair.Additional Skills & QualificationsNice to have: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.1-2 years of experience in vehicle and equipment repair, or a trade school graduate.Knowledge of construction equipment and ability to read schematics and diagrams.Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The shop environment is climate controlled with heating and air conditioning. Fieldwork conditions vary based on the weather. The position requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
