Job Title: Technician
Job Description

This is a hybrid role where 60% of your time will be dedicated to technician duties and 40% to shipping responsibilities. You will perform moderate to complex assembly functions utilizing mechanical skills and a variety of hand tools and assembly fixtures. You will produce and inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to product specifications, and may assist in the training of less experienced team members. A full adherence to the established Quality System and a comprehensive understanding of GMP are essential. You will also ensure complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performed.

ResponsibilitiesPerform moderate to complex assembly functions using mechanical skills and hand tools.Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to product specifications.Assist in training less experienced team members.Ensure complete documentation of all assembly and test processes.Weigh outgoing shipments and prepare them for dispatch.Receive all incoming shipments, mark documents, identify items, and move them to designated areas.Pack outgoing traffic such as spare parts and machine orders.Organize inventory and maintain order in the job staging area.Maintain parts inventory and issue parts as needed.Conduct inventory counts and maintain ERP database.Maintain spare tools levels and spare parts bins.Ensure compliance with ISO standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in electro-mechanical assembly and prototype assembly.Ability to read blueprints and understand engineering drawings.Experience with manufacturing and test documentation.Understanding of test engineering and document control.Familiarity with medical device quality management systems.Troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months to a year of assembly experience, preferably in aerospace or medical sectors.Ability to use basic computer applications such as MS Word and MS Excel.Good communication and strong organizational skills.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
