**NOW HIRING: CONCRETE LABORERS - COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS** **FULL-TIME - PAID WEEKLY - MULTIPLE POSITIONS OPEN** **Hours: 7AM-4:30PM** **Monday-Friday** **PAY: $18-21/HR** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled technician to expertly set and align forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth. The role involves checking these forms to ensure they are properly constructed, leveling and smoothing concrete using a variety of tools, and creating a rough concrete surface with a broom. You will also mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedges, clean chipped areas, and apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure and waterproof surfaces. **Responsibilities** + Set and align forms for concrete to the desired pitch and depth. + Verify the proper construction of concrete forms. + Level and smooth concrete using a rake, shovel, hand/power trowel, hand/power screed, and float. + Create rough concrete surfaces using a broom. + Mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools, jointers, and straightedge. + Clean chipped areas using a wire brush and inspect surfaces for roughness or unevenness. + Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure and waterproof concrete surfaces. + Perform additional duties as requested. **Essential Skills** + Concrete finishing + Concrete construction + 2 years of concrete experience in residential or commercial settings + Ability to consistently lift 50lbs throughout the day + Proficiency with hand tools + Experience in flatwork and foundation construction **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand/power trowel + Experience with hand/power screed and float + Finishing skills **APPLY DIRECTLY TO POSTING IF INTERESTED OR TEXT 319 731 1094** **(Please include name and interview availability when texting)** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
