Job Description

We are seeking skilled technicians to join our team for complex device assembly and testing. The role involves working with small cameras used in imaging testing. Candidates should have a solid electrical background and be mechanically inclined, with experience in areas such as boats, cars, or bikes. Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel, are required, as a basic test will be administered onsite.

ResponsibilitiesPerform a wide range of assembly tasks on medical devices using work instructions and similar documentation.Start with packaging and get trained there, then progress to assembly.Conduct assembly operations on mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies under minimal supervision.Ensure workmanship standards for quality, inspect work for defects, and report any deviations found.Take responsibility for the quality level of work performed.Meet production levels and update the supervisor on progress.Adhere to company standards for attendance, safety, housekeeping, and personnel policy requirements.Comply with regulatory requirements in all tasks.Perform other tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsSolderingElectromechanical skillsTroubleshootingElectrical testingProficiency in ExcelCable assemblyMechanical and electronic assemblyWiring and schematic readingUse of hand toolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsGMP experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office, mainly ExcelExperience in a cleanroom environment is a plus2 years of prior experience in assembly, wiring harnessing, and assemblyAptitude for mechanical assemblyAbility to read and use process sheets, schematics, and blueprintsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing environment focused on the assembly of medical devices. Employees will work with various technologies and equipment, adhering to high standards for safety and quality. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
