**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled technician with experience in cable assembly and complex device testing. The ideal candidate should possess a strong electrical field and computer skills, particularly in Excel. You will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging medical devices following detailed work instructions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform a wide range of assembly tasks on medical devices using work instructions and similar documentation.
+ Begin with packaging and receive training to advance to assembly tasks.
+ Conduct assembly operations on mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies with minimal supervision.
+ Meet workmanship standards for quality and inspect work for defects, reporting any deviations found.
+ Maintain production levels and communicate progress to the supervisor.
+ Comply with company standards for attendance, safety, housekeeping, and all personnel policy requirements.
+ Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Perform other tasks as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in soldering, electromechanical troubleshooting, and electrical testing.
+ Advanced computer skills with Excel, including copy/paste, saving documents, and using shortcuts.
+ Ability to troubleshoot problems based on error messages.
+ Experience with cable assembly and wiring.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with tools such as multi-meter, torque driver, pipette, light meter, temperature data logger, laser collimation, oscilloscope, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a plus.
+ GMP experience.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, mainly Excel.
+ Cleanroom experience is beneficial.
+ Two years of prior assembler experience, wiring harnessing, and assembly.
+ Ability to read and use process sheets, schematics, and blueprints.
+ Physical ability to lift 20 pounds and effectively use a variety of hand tools.

**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing environment focused on the assembly of medical devices. Expect to engage in tasks requiring walking, talking, hearing, and moderate manual dexterity.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
