**Job Title: Construction Laborer** **Job Description** The Technician will support remediation work that includes construction tasks such as clearing and grubbing, installation of erosion control materials, soil excavation, grading, dewatering, backfilling, truck scaling, equipment decontamination, and restoration efforts. The technician will be responsible for supporting equipment operators, performing torch cutting on steel, and handling various general labor tasks on the work site, including carrying materials, dirt work, and shoveling material. **Responsibilities** + Support remediation work involving construction tasks. + Assist in the installation of erosion control materials. + Perform soil excavation, grading, dewatering, and backfilling. + Handle truck scaling and equipment decontamination. + Assist with restoration efforts. + Spot equipment operators and perform torch cutting on steel. + Carry materials, handle dirt work, and shovel material. **Essential Skills** + Experience in construction/civil work involving outdoor tasks. + Ability to lift 75 lbs. independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 40 Hour Hazwoper certification (preferred but not required). + Environmental experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values hard work and dedication, offering opportunities to grow within the environmental and construction industry. The work environment is dirty and requires experience in similar settings. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans without holes, and a shirt with sleeves. Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting between 5-7am, with 10-12 hour days. Saturday work is possible and should be expected. During out-of-town work, expect to work 50-60+ hours per week.
