**Job Description**
**Validation & Testing**
+ Perform **functional** , **electrical** , and **interface‑level** testing of PCIe/NVMe and SD/SD‑Express cards.
+ Execute performance tests (sequential, random, sustained throughput, SLC/TLC behavior, GC events).
+ Run camera‑pattern tests and evaluate performance drops, latency, and buffering behavior (common for SD Express).
+ Use protocol analyzers (PCIe, SD bus), logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and host debug tools.
+ Validate PCIe link training, LTSSM states, lane negotiation, reset behavior, and power‑state transitions.
+ Verify SD/UHS/SDR modes, card‑detect, hot‑plug, and backward‑compatibility behavior.
**B. Debugging & Issue Isolation**
+ Capture and analyze PCIe or SD traffic traces; identify protocol violations or timing/latency anomalies.
+ Debug SLC→TLC transitions, garbage‑collection behavior, and performance drops under load.
+ Work cross‑functionally with FW/HW teams to root‑cause failures (e.g., drops due to TLC compaction, GC triggers—seen often in camera‑throughput cases).
+ Provide clear issue reports with reproduction steps, logs, trace captures, and analysis.
**C. System Integration & Characterization**
+ Evaluate product behavior on various hosts (PCs, cameras, test fixtures, embedded hosts).
+ Conduct temperature, voltage, and stress testing including high‑resolution camera workloads.
+ Validate new ASIC/board revisions, connectors, PHY behavior, signal integrity, and thermal characteristics.
+ Assist in bring‑up of prototypes and PoC cards (uSD/SD/SD Express, PCIe‑based modules).
**D. Documentation & Compliance**
+ Follow and contribute to test plans, validation matrices, and engineering logs.
+ Ensure compliance with:
+ **PCI‑SIG** requirements (config space, link stability, enumeration, protocol layers)
+ **SD Association** physical and protocol specifications
+ Maintain detailed test records, failure reports and support certification activities.
**Qualifications**
