**Job Title: Environmental Technician - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Environmental Technicians to manage non-hazardous waste in our facility. The role involves unloading waste from vehicles, decontaminating vehicles, and staging waste for scanning and processing. This position requires individuals to be on their feet for extended periods, performing duties safely and productively. **Responsibilities** + Unload non-hazardous waste from incoming vehicles and trucks. + Load sorted material from bins, pallets, and boxes into vehicles or trucks. + Sort non-hazardous material into designated sections. + Break down boxes in which materials are delivered. + Maintain housekeeping, ensuring spills are cleaned, floors are dry, and debris is removed promptly. + Ensure boxes are sealed properly and pallets of boxes are secure using shrink wrap before transport. + Assist in various plant operations as directed, with cross-training in D-Pak, Retail, and Distribution Center areas. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation + Packing + Sorting + General labor + DOT regulations + Environmental management + RCRA compliance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic math skills + Ability to lift 50+ lbs independently + High School Diploma or GED + Previous RCRA experience + Previous warehouse experience + Forklift experience **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits for full-time employees.
