3 TECHNICAL WRITER OPENINGS! Contract to hire Medical device company! Job Description We are seeking skilled Technical Writers with a strong focus on Clinical Affairs to join our team. Our organization is developing a groundbreaking non-invasive, robotically assisted platform capable of destroying tissue at a sub-cellular level. We are looking for up to three talented individuals to contribute to our innovative projects. Responsibilities + Create, revise, and maintain labeling and technical documents, including user manuals, quick-start guides, and labels. + Develop Instructions for Use (IFUs) from the ground up, gathering information from various departments. + Ensure all labeling meets applicable regulations and industry standards. + Coordinate the translation of technical documents into multiple languages. + Collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Focus on neuro and uterine fibroids as new therapeutic areas. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing or Technical Communications within the Medical Device Industry. + Expertise in FDA Regulations and Regulatory Compliance. + Proficiency in developing and writing IFUs, with 5-10 years of experience. + Experience in regulatory affairs and clinical research. + Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in therapeutic areas such as Neuro and Uterine Fibroids is highly preferred. + Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is important. + Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. + Experience with document management systems. + Strong communication skills and a proactive, go-getter attitude. Work Environment The position is mostly remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Minnesota metro area or Madison, Wisconsin area. The role may require occasional office visits for team collaboration. The work environment is dynamic, fostering innovation and precision. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
