Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of the Training and Documentation Administration team, supporting organizational growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for creating clear and effective documentation that empowers teams and enhances learning experiences.
**Job Title:** Technical Writer
**Location:** Boise, ID
**What's the Job?**
+ Maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
+ Manage documentation systems and support the learning management system (LMS).
+ Facilitate training sessions and maintain training records, materials, and forms.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on assigned documentation systems.
+ Extract, analyze, and visualize data to support decision-making processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ At least 5 years of experience in technical documentation.
+ Minimum of 3 years of workforce development experience.
+ Proficiency with advanced documentation authoring software such as MadCap Flare or FrameMaker.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and managing SharePoint lists and libraries.
