Technical Writer – El Paso, TX

3‑Month Contract | On‑Site

An engineering and energy solutions company is hiring a Technical Writer to create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, work instructions, and internal process documentation. You’ll work closely with engineers and production teams to gather information, observe workflows, and ensure all documentation meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

Develop, revise, and maintain technical documentsGather info from SMEs and observe processesReview BOMs, drawings, and photosOrganize content clearly and follow internal standardsProofread and recommend improvements

Qualifications

Associate degree+ in Technical Writing/Communication (preferred)3+ years technical writing in engineering, manufacturing, or energyExperience with CCMS/authoring tools, Microsoft Office, SmartsheetStrong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear contentJob Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of El Paso, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
