Technical Writer – El Paso, TX 3‑Month Contract | On‑Site An engineering and energy solutions company is hiring a Technical Writer to create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, work instructions, and internal process documentation. You’ll work closely with engineers and production teams to gather information, observe workflows, and ensure all documentation meets quality standards. Responsibilities + Develop, revise, and maintain technical documents + Gather info from SMEs and observe processes + Review BOMs, drawings, and photos + Organize content clearly and follow internal standards + Proofread and recommend improvements Qualifications + Associate degree+ in Technical Writing/Communication (preferred) + 3+ years technical writing in engineering, manufacturing, or energy + Experience with CCMS/authoring tools, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet + Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear content Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of El Paso, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
