Our client, a leader in the technology manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of the Workforce Development department supporting training and documentation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to documentation management, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Writer
**Location:** Boise, ID
**Pay Range:** $35.98
**Shift:** Day - Mon to Fri - 8 Hours
**What's the Job?**
+ Maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
+ Manage documentation systems and support the learning management system (LMS).
+ Create, edit, and archive documents, graphics, and images using appropriate standards and software.
+ Support training initiatives by maintaining training records, materials, and certifications.
+ Extract, analyze, and report data to support organizational decision-making processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ At least 5 years of experience in technical documentation.
+ 3 years of experience supporting workforce development or training programs.
+ Proficiency with advanced documentation authoring software (e.g., MadCap Flare, FrameMaker).
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and managing SharePoint libraries.
