Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Documentation Support team supporting compliance and regulatory communication efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Writer
**Location:** Remote (within the US)
**Duration:** Part-time, 8hrs/week, No OT (flexible schedule)
**Pay Range:** $31 -$33/ hr on W2
**What's the Job?**
+ Create detailed documentation reports highlighting notable changes in privacy documentation.
+ Compare previous and current technical articles to summarize updates for EU regulators.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams and other technical writers to review and refine content.
+ Organize and document change logs using GitHub and Microsoft Word.
+ Participate in team meetings to ensure alignment on deliverables and project timelines.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 2 years experience with GitHub for technical documentation management.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating and editing technical content.
+ Experience developing technical documentation for enterprise audiences such as IT generalists or administrators.
+ Strong ability to analyze and summarize technical changes clearly and accurately.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a flexible schedule.
