Technical Trainer, Fulfillment by Amazon Learning and Development
Description We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our team in the role of Technical Trainer. If you can communicate and teach highly technical concepts to audiences at different stages in their development, we’d like to speak with you. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) offers Amazon sellers supply chain management solutions. The Global Learning and Development team in FBA empowers and enables our employees through training and upskilling. In this role, you will cultivate technical fluency, including Generative AI, across our organization. You are an experienced technical trainer. On our team, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality technical training programs for our employees with initial focus on Generative AI. You are able to juggle competing priorities, be scrappy, and handle ambiguity comfortably. You must have a passion for learning and relationship-building, as well as data efficiency and accuracy. Key job responsibilities • Help shape the ongoing strategy and execution of our Generative AI and other technical training solutions. • Coordinate, deliver, and facilitate technical trainings, social learning events, presentations, and supporting material as needed. • Improve training delivery to contribute to productivity gains and business performance improvements. • Rapidly learn new technical concepts and products as required to educate our learners and the broader learning and development team. • Build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and act as consultant with regard to technical training best practices and solutions. • Identify knowledge gaps, training opportunities, and improvement initiatives. • Run mechanisms to collect, analyze, and report on learning impact metrics for the trainings you deliver. • Maintain clear and consistent project status reporting for project partners and leadership. Basic Qualifications • 3+ yrs experience conducting technical training • Effective facilitation skills and ability to engage adult learners • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly and accelerate learning for diverse audiences • Excellent proficiency in English • Experience working as part of a global team with remote colleagues • Experience managing training projects, including coordinating with other teams • The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Effective interpersonal communication skills and efficient organizational skills Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with AI solutions or driving adoption of new technologies through training Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
