Our client, a leading organization in the technology support sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Tech II to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Support Tech II, you will be an integral part of the Customer Support Department, providing essential technical assistance to end users for hardware devices and related products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and high organizational abilities, which will enable them to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
**Job Title:** Technical Support Tech II
**Location:** New York, NY | Fully onsite
**Pay Range:** $34.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and personnel requests, ensuring a positive customer experience.
+ Identify, research, and resolve hardware and device-related issues, including TV sticks and appliances.
+ Create and manage support tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately.
+ Respond within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely issue resolution.
+ Escalate complex issues to engineering teams when necessary and follow up to ensure resolution.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
+ 3-6 years of experience in a technical support role, particularly hardware troubleshooting.
+ Experience with ticketing systems and customer support software.
+ Familiarity with AI search tools and troubleshooting documentation.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
