Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join their team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Administration department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist
**Pay Range:** $26 - $31
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and phone systems.
+ Troubleshoot various problems with hardware and software, including desktops, printers, and Microsoft Office applications.
+ Maintain accurate records and receipts for equipment and software.
+ Log all calls and requests into the helpdesk database promptly.
+ Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associates Degree in Information Technology or related discipline preferred.
+ Minimum of 1 year practical experience in providing support in an IT environment.
+ CompTIA A+ certification required.
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
