Technical Support Analyst - Contract
The Technology Support Analyst position is responsible for coordinating the installation, moves and changes to the WAN/LAN network, telecommunication equipment and services, software and other internal organization technology requirements in ManpowerGroup field offices initiated by new, relocation, expansion and cease-driven facility projects. Project support requires managing multiple vendors and customers for multiple projects at all times. Project Support – 55% • Project Management to include successful MAC projects. Including but not limited to new, relocation and expansion or upgrade projects that involve WAN/LAN/WLAN network equipment, telecommunication coordination, business software and other ManpowerGroup technology requirements. • Assist local field offices with determining their technology needs and providing the most cost effective solutions • Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation of policies and procedures • Maintain record keeping systems that include equipment, telecommunications, vendor databases and other files Vendor and Cost Control – 25% • Ensure orders, facility preparation and day to day activity is on time, accurate and complies with ManpowerGroup standards • Responsible to track cost savings due to making recommendations to field offices or the redeployment of equipment • Audit of vendor invoices on a monthly basis to ensure timely and accurate billing Customer Support – 20% • Provide expert level escalation and technical leadership to support internal customer needs • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical capacity, which will include at least 1 year of telecommunications technology support • At least 1 year of experience related to the US telecom environment and vendors including knowledge of a mix of the following: PBX and key systems, VoIP, Centrex, SIP, Avaya and Cisco IPT, and mobile devices and providers • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required • Project management experience and related business skills are essential to this role • Ability to evaluate and manage multiple vendors in a complex IT environment • Analytical and problem solving skills • Strong customer service skills and ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent initiatives • Advanced professional level business writing, grammar and oral communication skills • Ability to act as communication point and liaison for the field and between multiple departments at the ManpowerGroup Headquarters • Demonstrated excellence at giving and receiving feedback from all levels of employees within the organization • Successful at influencing team & customers, and resolving problems and conflict ManpowerGroup is proud to be an equal opportunity affirmative action workplace.
