Position Summary
Support for both technical service and regulatory affairs across Latin America. This dual function role is essential in managing ZOLL’s service excellence and regulatory compliance efforts throughout the region. This position plays a key role in strengthening customer satisfaction through technical relationship management, issue resolution, and collaboration with sales, engineering, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert technical support and customer relationship management across the LATAM territory, including Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.
• Identify training and service support gaps for ZOLL products.
• Coordinate and perform technical training for all ZOLL products line.
• Act as a technical Subject of Matter Expert (SME) for regional sales teams, business partners, and key accounts.
• Coordinate field corrective actions and upgrades in collaboration with headquarters and regional business partners.
• Assist in preventive maintenance activities and oversee documentation of service events from the BP´s.
• Track and report complaint trends; collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance for resolution.
• Support pre-sales activities including tenders, deployments, and product demonstrations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in reporting complaints and service activities per SOPs.
• Assist the corporate regulatory team with the full registration lifecycle of ZOLL products across LATAM: new submissions, modifications, renewals.
• Coordinate with Business Partners, Area Managers, and internal teams to gather and prepare necessary documents for registration purposes.
• Serve as a liaison with local consultants, ensuring proper follow-up, documentation, and payment flows
• Maintain a centralized and up-to-date database of all product registrations
• Letter requests and follow up, coordinate apostille/legalization of documents (CFG, LoA, PoA, ISO) and manage validation processes.
• Provide guidance on the regulatory impact of product changes (ECR´s) and support resolution of Ship Holds.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Electronics or equivalent technical discipline; or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in customer-facing service roles in the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with LATAM regulatory frameworks for medical devices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train, present, and speak in public.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices is a plus.
• Sales or commercial support experience is an advantage.
• Valid US visa and ability to travel regionally and internationally
