You Are:

A Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The TPM acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, risk management, and alignment with organizational goals.

 

 

The opportunity:

·       Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

·       Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

·       Develop detailed project plans; track progress and adjust as necessary.

·       Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.

·       Facilitate communication between technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.

·       Ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and met by the development teams.

·       Monitor and report on project performance metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

·       Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

What you need:

·       Required Skills and Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

·       Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in IT or software development.

·       Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

·       Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

·       Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

·       Mandatory Technical & Domain Skills

·       Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

·       Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

·       Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Trello

·       Ability to interpret and manage technical requirements

·       Experience leading IT or software development projects

·       Mandatory Project Management Skills

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Texas

Compensation Range: $88,000-$132,000

 

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
