Technical Program Manager
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a technical program manager with experience working within cybersecurity. The main responsibilities include: Develop, document, and deliver the (CTPR) data strategy and data enablement, including detailed project plans, roadmaps, and recommendations. • Coordinate project activities across various teams and stakeholders including status updates and presentations tailored to both technical and business audiences. • Consult with users, management, vendors, architects, engineers, and enterprise data teams to assess data analytics needs and functional requirements. • Lead interviews and workshops to capture business and technical needs, document interview summaries and requirements matrices. • Clear current and future state (i.e. processes, data flow, tools, architecture). • Engage with department heads and other leaders to solicit cooperation and resolve issues. • Lead the development of an operating model and participate in staffing decisions for data-related initiatives. • Evaluate solution proposals from technology partners and vendors to assess project feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives. • Hands-on with “pen on paper” to draft and deliver data strategy and enablement user help system. • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. • Provide users with technical support for computer problems. • Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions. • Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements. Skills: • Working knowledge of designing and implementing projects. • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. The project this program manager will be working on will be documentation of uses cases and functional requirements of each group. They will assist with planning for the data migration into the data lake. They will be also documenting and solutioning where we find duplication of data/processes/tools to help eliminate that cross over. The creating of the data lake will assist with cleaning data, and having one source of data for multiple stakeholders to ensure accuracy and elimination of duplicate data that differs. Skills and Requirements - 10+ years of project management experience required - Experience working within cybersecurity line of business within last 5 years for at least 1 year with a general understanding of cybersecurity - Experience working on a data migration project where data is being migrated to a centralized data lake - Experience with both Sentinel and Databricks data lakes and able to help define RACI and benefits of each solution - Experience with documenting uses cases, RACI's, processes, tools and helping to guide the team and ruling out duplications and finding the best solution • Proven experience designing and implementing data strategy programs and projects. • Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture, tools, and enablement. • Adept at translating complex data concepts into actionable plans and clear documentation. • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, cost management, and techniques for maximizing the effective development of data strategy and enablement. • Technical expertise in Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Azure, Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Sentinel Data Lake, security graph theory and related technologies. • Advanced certifications in program or project management, data management, or cyber security. • Experience with large-scale data consolidation and analytics initiatives in financial services or cyber security environments.
