Our client, a leader in innovative transportation solutions, is seeking a dedicated Technical Program Manager to join their team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of the Program Management Office supporting cross-functional teams involved in vehicle development, system design, software engineering, manufacturing, fleet operations, and business functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Program Manager, Milestone Execution
**Location:** Foster City, CA
**Pay Range:** $80-$90 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead the execution of major company product/service milestones, establishing test strategies and feature lock procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
+ Define KPIs and success metrics to measure progress toward business goals, securing buy-in from executive decision forums.
+ Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, providing updates on program status, issues, risks, and accomplishments in various organizational forums.
+ Collaborate with software, hardware, systems engineering, and operations teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth handoffs, maintaining focus on milestone delivery.
+ Develop a deep understanding of vehicle platforms, software lifecycle, safety clearance processes, and test operations to inform project execution.
**What's Needed?**
+ BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent engineering experience.
+ At least 8 years of experience in engineering or program management, focusing on product launches, validation, and testing.
+ Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects successfully.
+ Experience with automotive or aerospace processes, test platforms, simulation, autonomous vehicles, or verification & validation disciplines.
+ Proficiency with project management tools such as Gantt charts, risk matrices, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.
