ABOUT THE TEAM
The Catalog Management Systems (CMS) team is responsible for the tools and systems that ingest, validate, process, and publish all of the content available on the Audible platform. Our team is building next-generation systems that will revolutionize the way Audible handles its product catalog. We are developing solutions that enable seamless, no-touch audiobook processing, with robust error handling and the ability to scale effortlessly to meet the demands of our growing catalog.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will...
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to translate requirements into technology requirements and drive software development from design to successful deployment
- Manage multiple projects with conflicting needs and priorities across cross-functional teams (technology, business, marketing, operations) using Agile development framework
- Communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives transparently to all stakeholders and teams
- Continuously strive for performance improvement and setting higher standards in project execution using objective metrics

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience within software
- 2+ years of experience managing agile software projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment
- Able to diplomatically disagree and align when dealing with different stakeholders
- Results oriented and with a customer focus
- Prior experience in building service oriented (SOA) distributed systems
- Experience leading initiatives across multiple organizations
- Prior experience in building web-based systems using Java/J2EE, Apache Tomcat
- Experience building mobile device software and/or applications
- Adept at usage of various tools such as Microsoft Project
