We at John Hancock / Manulife are seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Product Owner to drive the development and delivery of key capabilities that align to our business strategic goals. Your primary focus will be delivering Generative AI features to production for life insurance underwriting. Over time, you’ll contribute to other strategic initiatives across our technology portfolio. This role will influence priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, engineering and quality teams (among others). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of customer-centric product development. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with business stakeholders, gathering business requirements, and translating them into actionable technical stories for the delivery team. As the Technical Product Owner, you will ensure that the squad adheres to agile practices, including conducting regular ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. You will also be responsible for planning the technical roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring that delivery is on track to meet business objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in driving innovation and maintaining a seamless communication experience for our customers.
