Job Description
Circle K (CK) is embarking on an ambitious journey to digitize its system landscape and introduce innovative services. This transformation involves transitioning from legacy platforms to a next-generation CK Card Issuing platform. Our goal is to simplify and standardize the CK B2B operating model, enhancing flexibility, and accelerating our time-to-market with a robust IT platform.
To support this transformation, we are seeking a Technical Product Owner for Fuel Cards and Payment Settlement, who will support the existing team and own the operational quality and the financial aspects of the assigned Fuel Cards - IT portfolio. The responsible person will be expected to secure optimal, stable, and efficient operations while at the same time supporting project delivery and improvement initiatives in the responsible domain. This role needs to both understand the business processes as well as technology for their given area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Ensures service meets customer needs and business objectives
Manages the service lifecycle, from design to retirement
Continual improvement of the service
Accountable for the overall quality of a specific service
Testing and Quality Assurance
Receive and approve project deliveries going into production.
Developing and implementing proactive end to end monitoring routines.
Close cooperation with IT architects and ensure the portfolio is according to Circle K IT strategy
Oversees the change management process
Assesses and authorizes changes which should be aligned with business goals and minimize disruption
Coordinating responses to service disruptions
Ensuring quick resolution of incidents
Communicating with affected users
Act as the first point of contact for users
Log and categorize incidents and service requests
Provide initial support and escalate (to vendor) complex Issues
Supervises implementation of Monitoring and Event management
Support the project delivery and improvement initiatives
Seeking and encouraging standardization, industrialization, and scalability of systems
Qualifications:
Problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Project management skills
Ability to analyze the needs and priorities and make decisions.
Ability to work with business stakeholders.
Experience in software testing and quality assurance
Experience with banking cards or B2B card platforms is a plus.
Understanding of industry standards and card security standards and compliance assessments is advantageous.
Knowledge of payment card processing, regulations, and industry best practices would be an asset
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (may be a last year student).
