Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the project management team supporting various software initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Project Manager
**Location:** Lakewood, Colorado
**Pay Range:** Target $50-$60 per hour (higher pay rate for people with ESRI experience)
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage software projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
+ Oversee project planning, change management, resource allocation, and risk management to mitigate potential issues.
+ Write and evaluate key project documentation, including requirements documents, business cases, test scripts, and workflow definitions.
+ Engage in vendor management and procurement activities, including writing and evaluating RFx, SOW, and contractual agreements.
+ Facilitate discussions around technical topics such as data transmission protocols, security protocols, and web development.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5-7 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, specifically managing software projects.
+ Proficiency in standard office applications such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Lucidchart, Outlook, Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.
+ Experience with the ESRI ArcGIS product or similar projects is preferred.
+ Ability to work standard business hours, 8 am – 5 pm MT, with a schedule of Monday to Thursday onsite and Friday remote.
+ Demonstrated high emotional intelligence and the ability to work under ambiguity.
