**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Technical Planner, you will assist with engineering operations alongside a team of technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for administrative tasks providing and supporting preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Respond promptly and professionally to client calls and emails.
+ Keep clients informed regarding the status of work orders, including completions and delays.
+ Conduct regular walkthroughs of the campus, which comprises five buildings totaling 784,000 square feet, to verify that work orders are addressed.
+ Utilize multiple software platforms to maintain an organized and up-to-date system.
+ Assign and oversee work orders among a team of technicians to ensure timely completion.
+ Responsibilities commence upon receipt of an approved work order and are considered complete when a Job Package is delivered to the Team Leaders.
+ Maintenance work orders may include, but are not limited to, safety compliance, parts and materials procurement, specialty tools and equipment, job planning, and required labor and resources.
+ Oversee the efficient and effective planning of all maintenance work orders to optimize technician productivity and minimize disruptions to client operations.
+ Approaches all aspects of the work to be performed with safety as the highest priority, in accordance with the JCI Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.
+ Ensures that the work also adheres to all applicable local legislative requirements, quality standards, as well as sustainability and energy efficiency procedures.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise
+ discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Technical Planner position is $45,000 annually [or $21.63 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Technical Planner position is $55,000 annually [or $24.44 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
