Our client, a leading organization in the technology and innovation sector, is seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Instructional Designer to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the Learning and Development department supporting internal teams, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and effective technical content. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and diversity.
**Job Title:** Technical Instructional Designer
**Location:** Remote
**Pay Range:** $49-$52/hr on W2
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop and organize technical instructional materials, including manuals, guides, and online content, ensuring clarity and usability.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as designers, researchers, and product managers to gather requirements and translate them into compelling content.
+ Write UI content, shape product voice and tone, and ensure consistency across all documentation and user experience materials.
+ Audit terminology and uphold UX writing and content strategy standards to enhance user engagement and understanding.
+ Contribute to the development of AI-focused tools that improve internal user experiences and support organizational goals.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, English, journalism, or communications.
+ 5-7 years of experience in creating documentation for technical audiences, with a strong portfolio of UI/UX content samples.
+ Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret some programming code.
+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to content development.
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
