Join Roche, where every voice matters. **The Position** As a Technical Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the lifecycle management, technical performance, and operational continuity of our state-of-the-art San José facility, supporting over 1,200 employees. This role is the technical authority on site, responsible for leading our "Hard Services" team and transforming our maintenance culture from reactive repairs to a predictive, data-driven model. You are passionate about 100% uptime, sustainability, and leverage smart building technology. **Your Opportunity** The responsibilities for this role include: + Strategic Reliability: Develop and execute a comprehensive Strategic Maintenance Plan for all critical MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, including HVAC, fire life safety, and power distribution, ensuring compliance with Roche’s global engineering standards. + Data-Driven Operations: Utilize the Building Management System (BMS) and CAFM tools to optimize energy consumption, manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for assets, and inform capital expenditure (CAPEX) decisions. + Project Leadership: Direct all technical site renovation projects and space densification strategies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to the highest safety and quality standards. + Vendor Management: Act as the technical authority for specialized outsourced vendors, conducting rigorous technical audits to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. + Safety & Sustainability: Partner with the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Office to implement significant energy-saving initiatives (e.g., CO2 reduction) and ensure all technical operations align with our "Safety-First" culture. **Who you are** The person in this role has exceptional ability to communicate complex technical risks and plans to non-technical executive leadership, has experience working with vendors and partners. Possess an analytical mindset, and is able to use data and metrics to drive operational decisions. As a leader, this person is a mentor, and has the ability to develop a high-performing technical team. + Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering Architect or related areas. A Master's or MBA is a plus. + 10+ years in Facilities Management or Engineering Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership/management role. Proven track record managing large-scale corporate real estate (50,000 m²+). + Deep expertise in HVAC, Electrical Systems, and Fire Life Safety codes.Proficiency in CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) software and BMS. + Strong understanding of Smart Building technologies and IoT integration for predictive maintenance. + Advanced English proficiency is required. **Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.** **Who we are** A healthier future drives us to innovate.
