We are seeking a Technical Engineer (IC-2) to join the Oracle LiveLabs team. This role focuses on helping workshop authors prepare content, ensuring environments are ready for delivery, and supporting the LiveLabs platform during both day-to-day operations and live events.

In this role, you will assist with workshop creation and validation, support platform operations, and provide technical assistance during hands-on sessions. You will also contribute to platform improvements and automation work as part of the broader team, particularly during non-event periods.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 2–4 years of experience in a technical support, systems engineering, or software-related role. Comfortable working in Linux or Unix environments. Familiarity with cloud concepts such as compute, networking, storage, and managed services. Basic scripting or programming experience (for example Bash, Python, or similar). Experience supporting or troubleshooting technical systems or environments. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities, especially during live events. Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting or delivering technical workshops, labs, or training environments. Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. Familiarity with relational databases or SQL. Experience using Git or other version control systems. Exposure to web applications or low-code platforms. Interest in growing into deeper platform engineering, automation, or workshop development responsibilities over time.
