Communicates technical information to end users of Zebra products and applications using writing, editing, design, illustration, or multimedia skills.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Researches, writes, illustrates, and completes deliverables for less complex
hardware and software projects following accepted Technical Communication
standards.
• Under close supervision, follows the Engineering and TechComm Department
Project Specifications to complete the assigned deliverables within the specified
timeframe.
• Follows Style Guide, Template, and Branding Guidelines to comply with
Zebra and TechComm Department standards.
• Escalates issues to get timely resolution before schedule is impacted.
• Performs duties and completes activities as directed by manager.
• Ensures project deliverables are loaded into information management systems as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Education:
o Bacherlor’s degree in technical writing, computer science or related field, or equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience in technical communications or
related field
• Minimum Work Experience (years):
o 0 – 1 years or related field experience or required equivalent work experience in technical
communications or related field.
• Key Skills and Competencies:
o Basic understanding of tools used in design and delivery of end-user documentation.
o Strong professional work behaviors – accountability, teamwork, attention to detail.
• Travel Requirements: 5%
