As Technical Commissioning and Programs Lead you will collaborate with colleagues to inspire customer moments of delight and pursue amazing outcomes each day. **Role Summary:** We are seeking a Technical Commissioning and Programs Lead to provide critical oversight during the design, installation, and commissioning phases of programs within the client buildings. This role is essential for ensuring that all new equipment, systems, and technical services are installed correctly, functioning safely, and meet both client, FM and regulatory compliance specifications in advance of FDOB and ready for the long term operational needs. Partnering with the onsite client team, the successful candidate will manage multiple program schedules, oversee and be accountable for all commissioning activities, and act as a key liaison between all stakeholders including design teams, contractors, clients, and the internal FM teams. **Key Responsibilities:** ● Installation and compliance: Observe the installation of equipment, plants, and systems to ensure they are fitted correctly and to a high standard, adhering to all design specifications, technical regulatory compliance and safety procedures. In addition to where appropriate co-ordinate any further due diligence or external verification or reporting to ensure all systems are fit for purpose prior to sign off. ● Conduct a review of any legacy systems, technical equipment and maintenance documentation to understand functionality, to ensure seamless integration as part of any new installation. ● Functional testing: Be present to witness and oversee testing and commissioning, to ensure operational and compliance requirements are met and testing protocols are adhered to. ● Troubleshooting: Investigate and/or support diagnosis of faults in new systems, to ensure they operate at optimal capacity. ● Design review: Attend design and coordination meetings, proactively review project designs provided by project teams, to ensure compliance with current procedures. Challenge decisions where appropriate, to ensure the operational needs of REWS are represented during the design and commissioning process. ● Technical guidance: Provide expert technical support and develop solutions for complex technical challenges that arise from the program lifecycle. ● Site inspections: Perform regular site visits and site walkthroughs, to inspect progress, address client requirements, and to ensure technical systems compliance and quality control. ● Track the key metrics for each program and report performance to key stakeholders, identifying and recording lessons learned to improve future programs. ● Full commissioning documentation package: Create, review, and manage all necessary commissioning documentation and plans, including reports, testing certificates, and supporting documentation to ensure smooth handover from Project teams to FM operations. ● Oversee and facilitate a smooth handover of the program to the client and/or operations team, ensuring systems and associated documentation are completed fully and aligned with FM requirements. Collaborate with the country TSMs and leadership team to identify FM team operational and training requirements. **Required skills and Qualifications** : ● Strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, particularly in relation to commercial real estate, complex machinery, and software. ● A formal qualification in a technical discipline, such as an electrical degree, or equivalent NVQ, would be desirable. ● Minimum 3-5 years experience managing teams within FM technical operations. ● Proven ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop effective, practical, solutions. ● Demonstrated ability to manage various stages of the commissioning and program implementation process, maintaining a clear overview of all project details and dependencies. ● Strong technical, document management, project management and problem solving skills. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical challenges and factors to diverse stakeholders, including those who are non-technical. ● Strong ability to lead and influence key stakeholders and diverse teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative environment.
