**Technical Clarification Specialist** **A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)** As part of the Technical Clarification team, you will play a key role in supporting our Large Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator Service Business by providing technical clarification for spare parts, material numbers, and material supersedures. Using SE databases and your expertise, you will enhance data quality, streamline processes, and address challenges to ensure accurate part data for the offer, order, and planning processes. You will collaborate with global teams across sales, project management, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to meet critical parts demands, maintain operations, and elevate service standards. In this dynamic role, your proactive attitude and problem-solving skills will make a meaningful impact worldwide. **How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)** + Providetechnical clarification of spare parts and spare parts lists across allproduct types (GT, ST, GN, AUX) to support our Service Business partsquoting, ordering, and logistics processes, proactively focusing onimproving SE’s response time to customers. + Identifycorrect orderable parts, find alternatives, locate material masternumbers, and assist with material master data updates. + Support/drivecritical/short-term outage demands from site (trouble shooting). + Ensuresustainable data quality by capturing knowledge and updating systems ofrecord. + Collaboratewith colleagues and teams across SE such as Sales, Project Management,Engineering, and Procurement teams to resolve details and expediteprocesses. + Analyzerequests for potential improvements and drive process changes and/orautomation projects to realize improvements, including to departmentalimprovement processes, support cultural transformation, and drive adoptionof new ways of working within diverse teams. **What You Bring (requirements)** + Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relatedfield (preferred), or equivalent experience in a similar role (e.g., FieldService Engineer, Commissioning Engineer). + Minimum5+ years of experience in product design, service engineering, or order management.Candidates with additional experience may qualify for a higher level.Power plant and spare parts experience across all product lines ispreferred. + Youare proactive problem solver with an organized approach, who demonstratesinitiative, asks questions, and communicates ideas clearly to support teamobjectives. + Proficiencyin English, with the ability to effectively convey ideas through writingand speaking. German proficiency is a plus. Excellent collaboration skillsto thrive in a multicultural team environment while also able to workindependently. + Provenexperience managing technical data sources, such as material masters,supersedure logic, bill of materials, configuration structures, anddrawings, with proficiency in IT tools like SAP PD2, PCM, and MS Office365. Proficiency with Snowflake, Tableau or Alteryx a plus. + Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
