Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate – Access Management

Responsibilities

Domain Expertise – Access Management

Knowledgeable and proficient with information security principles associated with Access Management programs and processes; some include:

Access risk management (e.g. identifying/escalating policy violations, indicators of credential sharing, stale/unused access, etc.).

Conflict of interest identification, with respect to access request review.

Least privileged access.

Broad and deep experience in account/access provisioning (create/modify/delete access request processing) on at least the following:

Microsoft Windows local users groups; Active Directory (AD) users and groups; Exchange mailboxes.

Linux (RedHat SuSE); UNIX (AIX HP-UX); AS/400 users and groups/roles.

OpenLDAP (users and groups).

Wide variety of enterprise applications (with respect to access management of users and groups/roles).

Wide variety of web-based access management interfaces (e.g. SaaS applications).

Hands-on experience and proficiency with, at least, the following toolsets:

Microsoft Lync.

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Microsoft Windows operating system local users and groups management MMC.

NetIQ DRA (AD access administration toolset).

Service Desk technologies (e.g. Numara Footprints and ServiceNow).

Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of recommended password policies, account attrition procedures, working knowledge and identification of service accounts, provisioning approval processes, public folders, shared mailboxes, secondary vs. generic accounts, strong attention to detail, This candidate should have a solid working knowledge of the active directory environment as it relates to exchange account creation.

Knowledgeable and proficient with, at least, the following elements of a mature Access Management program:

Adhering to and maintaining (drafting new, drafting updates, peer-review/validation, etc.) Access Management policies, standards, and procedures.

Maintaining a current, detailed inventory of assets governed by the Access Management program (e.g. asset name, owner, approver, reviewer, applicability to access review processes, etc.).

Reviewing submitted access requests for completeness and appropriateness.

Soliciting approval(s) for requested access, where defined as a requirement.

Direct provisioning or facilitating provisioning with other administrators, of approved access.

Communicating appropriate request details and status information to requestors, approvers, administrators, reviewers, etc.

Maintaining a high state of Access Management program audit readiness (e.g. retention management for received requests, approvals, etc.).

Soft skills

Excellent written and oral communications.

Correct grammar, punctuation, context, etc. is important toward minimizing confusion and avoiding frustration and unnecessary escalation.

Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. active listening, policy-minded, service-oriented, etc.).

Position will interact with people from a wide variety of technical departments and non-technical business units.

Position will interact with people in numerous roles (e.g. staff, managers, senior managers, directors, senior directors, etc.).

Strong critical, analytical, and correlative thinking.

Strong and consistent attention to procedural detail.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science.

Familiar with ITIL framework.

Expertise in Active Directory administration, including creation of domain/exchange accounts.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Good interpersonal skills and attention to customer service.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to effectively prioritize incidents and service requests.

Ability to work in flexible hours based on business demands – and on-call support in off business hours and on weekends, as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude
